Mischief Made Senior Mix – Gentle Blend for Older Rats
Our Senior Rat Mix is a gentle, Shunamite-inspired blend developed for older rats and those with reduced mobility or HLD. With slightly lower protein, higher fibre and supportive herbs, it helps maintain healthy weight, digestion and comfort in the golden months.
Age Range
Senior Mix is ideal for rats aged around 18 months and older.
Feeding Guidelines (Scatter Feed)
Scatter feed to encourage gentle movement and foraging, while still making food easy to find for older rats.
- Typical daily amount: 10–16g per rat per day
- A good starting point is around 12g per rat per day, and adjust for weight changes or health needs.
- Offer softer fresh foods where needed and always ensure fresh water is available.
