Meet the Makers
We've shared so many posts of our products, we've introduced our furry companions and of course we've met (virtually) some great people and made some good friends.
What we haven't done is introduced ourselves!
Mischief Made consists of Mark and Emma who are both rat (and nephew) obsessed.
Emma is with Mischief Made full time after a successful career in hospitality management for both independent and multi-national corporations.
Emma looks after the day to day running of the business which (amongst other things), largely consists of; creating the majority of your orders, keeping Mark in line and is mostly the one chatting to you guys!
Mark is a chartered Engineer specialising in structural design and Victorian infrastructure.
Mark largely looks after the admin / online presence of Mischief Made and manages the development of the business. He's no stranger to a sewing machine, so he jumps in to help Emma with your orders during the busier periods!
A typical day in the Mischief workshop will begin with:
- Morning coffee (Marks job - its a company rule that no work takes place before coffee!)
- Rat attention - more on our mischiefs next time!
- Update the order board (Emma's job!)
- Start the music - favourites are: The 1975 for Emma, Tool for Mark or power ballads for a busy day. Otherwise it's an eclectic mashup that could include Sinatra, Lil' Jon, No Doubt or Oasis .. we like to confuse Spotify.
Hopefully we've added a touch to the human side of Mischief Made, we'll be posting about our Mischiefs and all the characters in future posts - so stay tuned!
