Hammock Hanging

Eyelets? Straps? Wooden sticks?

The question of the best way to hang a hammock is one that keeps popping up. We've learnt that there is no "one-size fits all" approach to rat hammock hanging. So, we offer all of them; the main 2 and an additional .. super durable and chew proof method!

Eyelets

Eyelets are our default attachment method. Durable, good aesthetics and present better chew resistance than straps

Straps

After some product development collaboration with Steve at The Rat Wiki, we found that we hadn't really given straps enough of a test. Straps offer easy attachment where users may find dexterity a challenge, and it opens up more areas of the cage to hang a hammock!

Our more recent hammocks, ledges and fall breaker listings have featured straps, but every hammock is available with any attachment method you like.

Option 3 - Chains!

Sewing machines and metal things don't usually mix very well. But, we at Mischief Made have developed a method of securely sewing and attaching chains to hang our hammocks. We are convinced that this can offer the best of both main attachment points!

The first prototype has passed Tincers demanding tests with flying colours and has survived the rigours of washing cycles!

We have also had a logo redesign today! Courtesy of Julie Mortimer - Images of Nature we have an impressive new logo!
